the staff showed great kindness and were always ready to assist. the restaurant surprised me with its delicious offerings and excellent service. my room included a large bathroom with a fantastic shower.

i did encounter a big stain on the carpet upon entering my room.

the bus to eyre square stops right outside, this adds convenience. the hotel is close to a shopping center, it includes a grocery store plus other shops, so this is very useful.

i found a couple of things less than satisfactory. the breakfast was mediocre (i expected better). the coffee tasted weak. i also noticed the bathroom was somewhat old, with a small bathtub with only a shower curtain, a detail i didn't anticipate in this type of accommodation.

The lunch service disappointed me. The weekday menu was too limited. I found my fish and chips subpar. The fish portion seemed halved. The mushy peas were dry, the salad bland, and the wait for our main courses was excessive.

the bed was indeed comfy.

the restaurant closure really soured my visit. i was not informed about the closure before i arrived. the bistro offered was too loud. this affected the relaxation i expected.
